Completion Times a bit silly post-patch, bit of an oversight I think....

So, even if you play just the last section of a stage the game considers that you have beaten the chapter so I've just completed Ada 1 in five minutes and it's recorded as such on my stats.

IMHO it should discount times unless you played from #.1 else what's the point?

It's going to make speed-running events on RE.net ridiculous, that's for sure.

Most of the time, aren't the events just checkpoint-to-checkpoint anyways?

Anyone know if playing through professional on the last section of the chapter grant you the achievement for it if you done them all?

Im really hoping this will work for getting all S ranks in No Hope Left. Haven't even played it yet but very discouraged, feeling like I'll be lucky to even beat it

You still need to kill a certain amount of enemies for an S rank, which is not possible on the last section of most chapters.

I did some research if anyone's interested. The minimum number of kills required to get an A rank in the "enemies routed" category are as follows...

Leon 1 - 80
Leon 2 - 80
Leon 3 - 70
Leon 4 - 7
Leon 5 - 60

Chris 1 - 70
Chris 2 - 70
Chris 3 - 55
Chris 4 - 55
Chris 5 - 40

Jake 1 - 44
Jake 2 - 50
Jake 3 - 55
Jake 4 - 40
Jake 5 - 5

Ada 1 - 45
Ada 2 - 30
Ada 3 - 40
Ada 4 - 15
Ada 5 - 40

In Leon 1, you can start in The Town and get all the kills you need. For Leon 2, you can start in the Underground Lab, but be sure to kill all the enemies that appear in the area with the chute before you jump down it (they DO stop coming), as well as all enemies in the lab proper (be sure to open all the doors). Leon 3 and 4 need to be started from the beginning. Leon 5 can be started from the High-Rise Area, skipping the annoying beginning.

Chris 2 can be started from In Front of City Hall, but be sure to kill as many J'avo as you can in this area. You also should play it safe by killing all enemies in City Hall, including the Napads in the foyer.

In Jake 2, you can skip the blizzard part and just start in Snow-Covered Mountain. Likewise, you can skip the beginning of Jake 3 and start in the Living Quarters. For Jake 4, the Shopping District (4-4) will work, as will the Lower Levels for Jake 5.

If I find anything else out, I'll post it.

Edit: Sorry, I was wrong about Jake 2. You'd need to play that from the beginning, unfortunately.

tested completing last section of each chapter only for the different difficulty achievements using level select and can confirm it works.

I'm proud to say I beat no hope before this patch.
