FF12 representation?

Besides, the Basch seen in the game isn't even the REAL original Basch. THIS is the original:

Instead of that awesome character design, we got this fruity version which is similar only in name:

That reminds me of something I'd see in Vagrant story or FFT. Wish they kept the look

God why did they go with that other design

Basch was technically the original protagonist of XII

Why do people say this like it works in Basch favor? Just curious cause this is not the only time I seen this. Why would Basch have the advantage because he was replaced early on in the development phase by some one else? Doesn't make sense at all

Because if Gabranth is in then Basch is practically the only person who can be in for XII.

That doesn't even answer the question. How is Basch being canned from the main hero spot in FFXII work in his favor for getting in this?

I know he could work against Gabranth for obvious reason. Not denying that. Its obviously true. But people are using the fact that he was considered for being the main hero for FFXII but getting replaced, as something that's in favor of Basch's chances for this game. It just doesn't make sense why they think that would give him an advantage

the way I see it:

main hero has more chances in most cases but Vaan wouldnt be a good rival for many people at all...

so,

Main Hero>BEING CONSIDERED to be main hero>Never being considered.

You shudder because we didn't get a more feminine design of Basch?

the way i see it is that both ashe/vaan are the only to to get in besides vayne and gabranth.........now lets stop these useless fighting and talk about gameplay mechanics!!!!

I never got the hype for Balthier. He's a lame SLOW gunner who only makes a few snappy comments and never shuts up. He's not even the main character.

I think Ashe or.......ugh.....Vaan will take the slot. Preferably Ashe. That would be really cool. NO Vaan, thank you.

Things happen during development, and therefore pre-finalized versions shouldn't be considered canon.

I mean, look at Lord of the Rings. Strider was originally going to be a hobbit named Trotter who had his feet chopped off by the Dark Lord. Frodo and Sam were going to be captured and taken to Minas Morgul, etc.
