"New" Project: Pokemon teams for Final Fantasy characters

#11Dark_Einherjar(Topic Creator)Posted 10/1/2012 7:43:31 AM
Alright, people... time's up!

The order of the Final Fantasy games shall be:

1. FFX (10 votes)
2. FFIV (7 votes)
3. FFVI (7 votes)
4. FFVII (6 votes)
5. FFIX (5 votes)
6. FFVIII (2 votes)
7. FFV (1 votes)

There was a tie for the second place between IV and VI, but I voted for IV, so I, as the TC, will have the casting vote. >:3

I'll post the FFX character list here later, so you can start picking the ones you want first.

Whew... I was starting to think there would be no requests at all. ._.

Request list:
-Auron
-Kimahri
-Seymour

For those who weren't around when I made the Dissidia topic, I'll be building teams for characters in the order they were requested. ;)

I'm looking forward to Rikku, Auron, and Seymour. Auron and Seymour are already listed, so I vote Rikku.

Also Jecht should've been more manly like this list:

I wasn't here for that thread, so meh.

Auron is a samurai and an offensive powerhouse, so three of his Pokémon pack swords and hit like trucks if they can set up. Scizor and shiny Dusclops are both red, matching his clothes. Dusclops is also a ghost - a nod to Auron's unsent state. Volbeat is a Firefly Pokémon - a reference to the Pyreflies Auron's unsent body is made of. Espeon is here just to complete the team, but its moveset is also a distant reference to Auron's naturally high defensive stats (in his own path in the Sphere Grid).

While this team lacks entry hazards of its own, Espeon can block opposing hazards and turn them against the opponent. This also goes to status moves. If it gets the room to do so, Volbeat can pass a massive Tail Glow boost (+3 in special attack!) to Keldeo, allowing it to walk over the opposition; it can also paralyze or Encore opposing Pokémon for further support. Dusclops can burn physical walls and leech PP with Pressure. The rest of the team is self-explanatory, I suppose.

List:
-Kimahri
-Seymour
-Rikku
-Lulu

Until next time. :)

Voting is over.

Nice team for Auron. Like the use of Volbeat as the Pyreflies. Terrakion and Keldeo seem pretty popular.
