Mad_Cartoonist's Golbez Replay

.....That's not spamming at all. Just because he likes to use Gravity System and Float System doesn't mean he's spamming. He's forcing the battle into an unfavourable situation for Terra. Attack System is long ranged, and does not have a Brv-HP link, which makes it not so good against Terra.

^ Apparently, he can't tell the difference between pressuring and spamming xD

No, they aren't. I have a harder time fighting CPU compared to real-life players. And it's against their friend cards.

^ Speaking theoretically, non-friend-card AIs are stupid, but they have hax reflex.
Most of the time, I figure out how to manipulate AIs, then proceed to fight WITHOUT using those manipulation for a really random fight.
Hope that makes sense >_>

Well, Golbez still can function in the air. Just not very well against a pro player.

^ Yup. He can't control people well like on the ground, which is sad :(
If only he has Aerial Nightglow...

I might post a replay of my Firion against a Spammiroth, just to show the difference between Spam and Pressure. Still figuring how to upload it, and whether or not I should show my Nubirion.

That said, M_C, keep it up.

As Golbez, I have absolutely no problems with the AI, as they (for some unknown reason) seem to always get caught by either Gravity Force or Sector Ray. After that, it's just an Assist, and they're half dead.

I just have problems as Kuja...

^ Which part are you having trouble with?
You need to convert the replay into an AVI video in the Collection -> Creation option from the Dissidia Portal.
It'll be in your PSP's VIDEO folder. I normally go with normal quality conversion btw.
Do you have a Youtube account?

That said, M_C, keep it up.

^ Will do :P

^ Golbez is one of the extremely strong AI killer in any given situation.
At point-blank, Nightglow is almost always faster than every other attacks the AI will pull out on you, and as a result, they are doomed :P

Well, yeah. I didn't mention counter attacks because the whole idea of playing like that is to wear on the enemies patience and force them to change strategies. If(if), you can properly run an absolute defense, you can frustrate the enemy to the point that they do something stupid or quit. My whole point is what I was saying is less about combating them in the air and more about frustrating all of their attempts to fight on their terms. I haven't played the game in a minute, but iirc, you can block or use an attack immediately following a dodge. With Nightglow in particular, this should give you an annoying amount of invincibility if you also use the dodge boost. Again, I'm speak from a purely defensive standpoint, not considering counter attacks until I feel comfortable with the range.

^ The thing is, there is no such thing as absolute defense. Unlike the first game, you have assists to worry about. The more they throw their attacks at you, the more advantage they have. Each and every of their moves are like a timed bomb attached on you. They will not get frustrated at throwing whiffed attacks. In fact, by constantly dodging on the ground and not countering them, we're playing right into their hands. They are more than happy for you to stay down there and get stuffs tossed at you.

And hey, no worries. This is a purely theoretical discussion on a method of playing a video game. You won't see me getting angry, or being anything but exasperated at anyone else's anger on the matter. Because really, it's a stupid thing to get passionate about.

^ Someone around here can really learn from you, LOL

And that's the main thing that has me uncertain. I don't know for sure if you can block/Nightglow immediately after a dodge. If you can, then there you go: Assist bait, an easy lock. I have done it about 12 times, but I need more data before I can say anything conclusively.

^ While you can almost instantly Nightglow, assists are well-known for punishing dodges.
Then again, there are precision dodge ability.

Still, camping while the other party throw down stuffs at you don't sound like a good thing to me. Maybe those DF pros can point out better than I do.

I can't help it but laugh at this troll. His last sentence did made me lol.

Regardless if it is AI battles, MC videos/replays is always fun and entertaining to watch. One of my favorite videos I watch often from MC is the DDFF combos. Love the music and the characters synchronizing their EX Burst.

Keep it up MC. Let the haters hate. XD

Haha, thanks man xD
Glad you love the combo video.

I was actually in the middle of creating another combo video until I stupidly delete all the converted videos I intend to use in that vid ._.
As a result, the project was put on halt since I lost the will to continue it >_<
