Ok, it looks like Phenotrans is getting off Scot-free... but here's my nitpick: why didn't Frank snap any pics of the Phenotrans boss as proof?

Better yet, if his camera is digital it probably records movies as well... why not record her entire "Muahaha - you can't stop us - humanity is scum - everyone deserves to die" speech?

I mean, even cell phones have that capability nowadays...

It's almost like Capcom paraphrased Phenotrans and said "It's not in our interest to release a tidy ending."

Well, to be fair, taking pictures of a CEO in her office wouldn't do much to tarnish her or her company's reputation.

I doubt Frank's camera was digital, otherwise I'm sure he would have recorded Marian's speech.

I honestly thought Case:West's ending was the most well-done one out of the entire series.

To be honest, the ending left a bad taste in my mouth if only because I see this series becoming Resident Evil plotwise, what with another zombie-producing mega-corporation to take down. I almost expect Claire Redfield in the next installment...

As far as endings go, C:W's my favorite.

Ending S in DR1 made me rage. You know Frank escapes the mall, but have no idea if he was even alive up to the point Zombrex had been made. At least not until C:W was even announced.

Ending A in DR2 left off at an incredibly dumb note. "Oh, I just massacred thousands upon thousands of zombies, yet for some odd reason, this one zombie in the elevator can overpower me. Me, the man who had just slayed thousands upon thousands of zombies."

C:W was the only ending in which you know for a fact that the main characters are alive, and that you'll be seeing them again in a future installment.

I almost expect Claire Redfield in the next installment...

Gotta agree with TC. Would've liked it if you had to escape the flames. Really liked what they did with survivors saving themselves. If that ends up in the next installment I may be inclined to get it. Just make it longer. Case West was fun, but short.

Er, that's only Ending S in DR2... For DR1, the best end is A. Ending S is for PS3 only.

Um...what? In DR1, if you get ending A, you unlock overtime mode. Beat that, and you unlock ending S, which is also the true/best ending. DR1 was never made for PS3...? Unless you meant DR2, and if that's the case...um, idk.

i seriously hoped that the final segment of the level was to find that cure, with a (real life time) timer of 5 minutes (you know, 5 MINUTES UNTIL DETONATION, ALL EMPLOYEES... you know).
but noo, it just skips their escape entirely and, to put it in other words, give the message that "the fight goes on....".

IF theres no DR3, then this is the worst ending to a game (series) EVER.
