So PS3 is now the main fanbase for Ninja Gaiden

Based on units of NG3 sold:

PS3: 66,703

360: 35,672

That's like almost double the amount of PS3 gamers who own NG3 over the 360 gamers where I thought the main fanbase was going to be.

The 360 fans know what a pile of crap this is and for the most part stayed away

The PS3 fans were exposed to Hayashi's lesser Sigma versions, so this is not as bad to them.

Different leadership in charge, recent Sigma 2 game popularity, PS3 more popular in other parts of the world than 360, more regions could play Sigma 2 and now NG3 due to the censored violence from NG2.

Holy ****! 100,000 units? That's all they've sold? I'd really like an official source, I know the game is mediocre, but... 100,000?

Yeah, it kinda makes sense when you consider Japan. PS3 games sell a hell of a lot better there than 360 games, not to mention the fact that this game, like the Sigma games, hasn't received the Japanese equivalent of an "AO" rating.

VGChartz is so unreliable with units shipped/sold.

Even Tales of Graces F sold more than both versions combined. Tales of Graces F. The game with literally zero mainstream appeal.

They usually tend to overestimate what the game did, so in this case, NG3 still did less than desirable.

Simple, because of Japan.
