Features you want in the game

most of the dynasty warriors game has been the same, the only thing usually different is the story, n the graphic change, weapon systems.

i hope they will add some elements to the game that would make it feel more or at least give it more epic feel like your in a real war zone. i like it how in dw 6 empire, how you were able to jump/climb up mountains then attack base. it gave it an epic feel of surprise attack.

things i would like to add if possible to make the game feel more epic. this is jut a list, feel free to add or comment on how you think these will make the game better or worst.

wall of text.

-rpg like system. something along like alot of online games, or strike force. you should be able to make weapons, armors, build your kingdom.

kingdom-u should be able to choose premade designs of how your castle, kingdom, city should look etc.

weapons/armors- u should be able to forge em like in strikeforce. there should be different weapons styles from each of the dynasty warriors games. so depending on what style you choose, you can have a weapon n fighting style of a weapon from dynasty warriors 3, with their combo system, attacks, etc instead of just limiting it to only one game style. if you notice, each dynasty warriors added some type of new combo system, but also toke some out. so i would really like to play as lu bu old weapon n combo from dw 3, but could always changed weapons to his current weapon from dw 6 style.

weapons/armors- weapons n armor should also have some sort of battle damage. meaning after each battle it will be in your best interest to reforge em or something, getting new armors, weapons etc so they wont be weaken in battle or break in battle. which leads up to next idea.

battle damage weapons/armors. in game if as a penalty, if you don't reforge ur weapons, armors, it will leave you vulnerable. ie you didn't upgraded/forged your weapons/armors after last battle n just went on to the next. you could be battle then your weapons will actually break in battle, leaving you vulnerable with no weapons, using some default hand ot hand melee attacks.

which leads up to next idea. your able to pick up fallen enemies/allies weapons n use em til they break or whatnot, but as a penalty instead of using yoru own moveset, you will use their moveset. so basically after each battle, it'll be in your best interest to always upgrade, fix/repair/forge your weapons n armors.

if you played way of the samurai, they have the weapon system like that, thats where i got the idea from.

-battle damage. after starting to play soul calibur 4 i think, i like how they added battle damage to the characters. after certain amount of damage, your clothes/armor in dw should be also damaged.

-gore- i think gore is a must, since its a war game. i know its also for younger audiences, but truthfully, younger teens don't play dynasty warriors. adding gore, just some thing as a mere blood clash, don't even have to be good or top notch. will make hte game stand out to younger audiences, but will also give veterans like myself since first dynasty warriors game from playstation, more our monthly worst since it was never added.

ninety nine nights 2 did a good job on this. it wasn't over the top, not too gorey, so it was actually nice to see some blood coming out when cutting down foes.

also it will be pretty cool to have at least some blood stay on your clothes for a limited time, or until you jump into some water n wash it off.

-more enemy on screen- again comparing to ninety nine nights 2, this game really should add alot more enemies on screen like nnn2. if you haven't played nnn2, download free demo, they did a decent job at the hack n slash theme, koe should follow in their foot steps.

this also leads to my next idea. i really wish to see fallen foes stay on the ground. i know there will be some sort of graphic issue, which is why this game needs to take years to make instead of being release each year barely adding something new.

it would really give it an epic feel to see at least 10 bodies on the ground n being able to stand on top giving you that victory feel as if you really had gone thru war.

-bow n arrow/horses/etc- i would really like to see em make a come back. it would be good to see em n use em also on horseback etc.

horses/elephants/tigers/etc-they really should make a comeback. last dw had no elephants, had tigers etc. so it will be cool at least to be able to ride a tiger or have it with you til it gets destroyed or something.

-tactics/strategy- last few dw games let you be able to let you choose where to put your soldiers etc. there should be more tactics/strategy so you u should be able pull off more surpirse attacks etc.

-weapon/combo system/costumes- like said, they really should put each weapon/combo system from each dw game in. so you should be able to choose em before battle since each game play a little bit differently n also had different combos, long range fireballs etc.

ie guan yu from older games had some better long distance n crowd control attacks, as well as lubu. zhou tai had very good single player combos before dw 6. etc.

we really should be able to choose our weapons, having different looks, as well as different combos from each of the game.

costumes from all the games should be in, but more instead of color swap. either that at least let us do some costume change, like give other characters costume to other characters, something like in c.a.w. but with the main characters.

-c.a.w.- create a warrior. really this has to be in. its highlight of the empire, extreme legend games. seeing your name as a character makes it epic.

also we really need more costume choices, or customizations. more facial features to choose from.

more eyes, nose, lips, eye brows, hair styles, mustache, beard.

costumes is a must. add in more, besides color swaps, there should be more in depth of how you can choose what to wear.

ie there should be an area of the following: hair accessory such cas caps etc, face accessory, neck accessory, upper body accessories, wrist accessory, more pants, ankle accesory, feet accesory.

like in soul calibur 4, or saint row 2, u should also have inner garments, so when your armor cracks it will show what ur wearing underneath or parts of it. it will be cool to see like a tattoo or something.

-multiplayer-2 playe coop story is always in, but online will be good as well. they should have like 4-8 players onine. chaos is hard already so having 4-8 players backing you up will be fun. basically replacing your lts or soldiers that follow you.

-musou- like the weapons, there should be different musous to choose from. like in dynasty warriors gundam 3 musou level bars, each level of musou charged will create a different musou combo, instead of just an extension of the musou.

u should also be able to choose different musous n link em together. also

aerial musou- should also be different as well, as well as animals/horses/elephant musou should be different instead of just a swing of your weapons with some extension.

-team musou- they really should have team musou having better effects like in previous dw series before 6, having those cool effects. if its 4 players, it will cause even more chaos.

-elements- as you can choose what elemetns to equip, this should also play vital to your musou team special. so depending on what elements you equip, when you do your team special it will cause something different depending on what the other player your doing the team(s) musou with equip.

ie if everyone equip fire orb, the musou main element will be fire, causing alot of fireballs or something.

ie if player a equips fire, player b equips wind, those 2 will cause a fire hurricane/tornado. while player c equips earth, player d equips ice, it'll cause like avalanche. if all 4 players together. it will cause the firery hurricane/tornado, earthquake/avalanche causing the floors to burse out lava as the ice avalanche falls.

this will be hard. but if they do it right, it will be awesome. but this will be like the last portion of the combos attack of team musou. like usually regular musou specials they end with some sort of shockwave, so this will be the final portion when players od their team(s) specials.

-destruction-there should be more bases to destroy, also when you destroy em like the towers, the pieces should just stay there. also trees/bamboos trees should also be able to be destroyed/chopped down.

it'll be cool to have a battle 1vs 1 with the other general in some bamboo area cutting em down as you clash.

-cutscenes- while battle named officers/generals . when doing those buttong mashing sequences etc, there should be more to it. something like in naruto storms story mode. u should have to input button commands doing like cool dodges, fight sequences etc.

-missions- assassinations- race etc- there should be some missions where you will do a stealth infilitration assassination. like assassin creed, or tenchi series. u will be ble to walk around the enemies city, blending in, using stealth to assassinate your targets etc.

this will give the game more replay value, but also a change in missions besides doing same hack n slash. if you played tenchi stealth assassin it will be something like that. ur in enemy territory, basically having to use stealth n take out soldiers, officers, n generals. if you get caught, then u must run n hide etc til the stealth bar goes low, then your able to do stealth moves again. basically play tenchu or assassin creed for stealth kills.

swimming- since ur able to upgrade swimming, there should be ablet dive deep into the water. this will play important roles for sneaks attacks for like battle of chibi etc or any water levels. also help for the stealth for assassinations missions.

it'll be so epic to jump out of the water n surpirse attack or stealth kill cao cao on chi bi or something.

racing- riding on your horse racing other officers etc. reaching certain goals etc

defend- i thin in dw 5 extreme legend, there was a level with zhao yun n the arrow old guy i think, basically you had to defend the bridge from the enemy force from having them crossing the bridge. basically more defned missions like this. but it will vary.

ie like you should be at the gate of your kingdom, enemy force is attacking, u will be basically fighting em off in front of the gate so they don't break thru.

-1vs1 battle- previous dw games had these where you call the general out to 1 vs 1, then the army watches you battle. in dw6 empire it was hard to get this. i had it only once since i got the game.

but this also will be cool. like i said with the cutscene sequence, there will be cool cutscenes of you inputting button commands, not button mashing one single button or rotating analog. this will make the battle more intense, epic, n look cool n entertaining seeing different cutscenes that occur as ur doing the button sequence.

-endings/openings- like in previous dw games, u should be able to edit endings n openings. also if possible add the caw in the endings or some major cutscenes if possible.

-kingdoms- if theres online, or even for console multiplayer, u should be able to battle each others kingdoms n forces.

ie i should be able to have my forces battle my friends forces or invade his territory. so each player will be able to strategize, set traps, or ambush etc. against each others forces split screen, online, or system link. i

f you lose that territory gets taken over, or like in empires, they could join forces with you if they want. but this also lead to them being able to betray you any time in battle as well, fogot whats its called.

theres so much more i can put but this is already alot, please add any comments, i don't mind the negatives it actually help makes the game better or ideas i had better. so feel free to add anymore you think will make worthy of a sequel.

Special requirements to unlock weapons, saddles, costumes, characters, stages, and endings,
and splitscreen online multiplayer.

I don't care about how many characters are in the game, and I couldn't care less about what Xiahou Dun is using. So long as the above requirements are met, I will be buying multiple copies of this game.

I guess anything that makes it more "RPG/strategy-like", though admittedly I'd like a -lot- more of it than is probably appropriate for a Dynasty Warriors game. Imagine have Empires mode, but longer, more detail, and the stats, weapons, and other things related to Officer Buildup in Musou/Free mode available.

Or pretty much any story or scenes that showcase or emphasize my elegant flower and I. One of my favorite parts of DW6:Empires was to have her among my ranks, bearing that pinki "Wife" sticker on her status sheet.

Remember in the old DW games there were cutscenes during battle
for certain characters but then if you replay a stage with a different
character he'd be in the cutscene instead.

Also would like to see more missions during battle so that if
you failed that certain mission the battle would kinda change.

This might sound a bit stupid to some but i liked it anyway. :)

Only thing I really noticed was gore and the series doesn't need any of that. Go play Troy or Hokuto Musou when it comes out.

Exactly. Again, it needs to be said again that this series' main audience (and where it sells the most) is in Japan, where censorship laws are much stricter. Koei is not going to do anything to make so that this game can't be marketed to as large of a Japanese audience as possible.
