A quick question, a lot of shield have a pretty high requirement of STR. Now, in Demon's Souls this greatly reduced the Stability, but here this doesn't seem to be the case (atleast on the stat screen).

What is the downside to using a shield you 'can't' use? Besides lower attack damage.

It takes your character forever to lift it to blocking stance, so it isn't reliable at all.
