I know there are probably a ton of topics on this already, however I was wondering on a scale of 1-100 (for accuracy) how hard would a dual claw build be for the "average" dark souls player?
Any advice or tips? I really want to make one, but I'm a bit worried I won't be able to handle it... I'm pretty good at parrying if that helps at all.. --- "Let's see you GRIT THOSE TEETH" PSN - ZIGZAGZOM
It would probably be pretty fun if you played the whole game using a really heavy weight build so that you could take all the dmg you're gonna be getting using two claws. Iron flesh it up every so often to make it like you're unstoppable cutting through everything... yeah I could see that
Claws are crappy. That being said, you can use any weapon you want, you just might have to be a bit better, since it will take you longer to kill most things.
Now, the thing about a "dual claw" build, is that dual wielding is crap in this game. Seriously. Especially using two of the same weapon. You can't L1>R1>L1>R1 like you could in Demon's Souls, and if you're using the same weapon in both hands, your L1 attack will be using the exact same animation as your R1, but it will be weaker, and it can't be combo'd. The only time dual wielding is viable at all in this game is if you use two totally different weapon types, say a fast, light weapon in your left hand, and a slower, stronger weapon in your right hand, but even then, you're really just doing it for looks. --- Bring more souls, slayer of demons... http://www.ps3trophies.com/card/4/DirjelJunshin.png
make a wolverine build. get enough stats to use the claws and enough stats to use the regenerating life miracle and just invade and run at kids. bonus points for wearing helms/armor that makes you look like wolverine. --- You are not illiterate
