lightning murakumo/washing pole any good?

Enough to justify raising my stats 6-10 levels on my twink?
Claymore is just so boring. I get raped by long poke weapons, but if I use my estoc I can't break guards :[

well. i lose to murakumo everytime in a 3 hit stun. so i'd say its worth it.

Just about anything with longer reach than me and poise kills me.

I love my murakumo +15 with sunlight blade. I am also trying to get into using the great scythe +15.

Lightning Murakumo +5 is pretty beast I must say. It is quite the weapon, but a Murakumo +15 isn't too shabby either.

Washing pole is fun but the other katanas are more useful.

Lightning Washing Pole looks good, feels nice and intimidates invaders, but doesn't hurt much. Works well if you use Avelyn.
Let's go get Shekki.

If you were going to choose between one of the two to go Lightning, I'd go with the Washing Pole. Turning a weapon into Fire or Lightning, it loses it's damage scaling. The Murakumo has good scaling, while the Washing Pole has terrible scaling. You won't get more damage out of the Washing Pole as you level, so it's better to squeeze out it's damage potential through the Lightning build.

The Murakumo, on the other hand, is a fantastic candidate to go +15 with.

Actually, I did exactly that ^-^'''
