Uh, What's a Beanpole?

I see messages on the ground that says beanpole here and there. What does it mean?

It means skinny person.

Or literally it's a stick that you plant into the ground, and bean plants climb up it as they grow.

A tall, skinny person. Opposite of "fatty", which I also think is a phrase in the game.

The message system is really weird and dumb in this game.

So what are they referring? A skinny person is coming up?

Probably a Smough (fatty) and Ornstein (beanpole) reference.

Sometimes. Usually nothing.

The only time it's really relevant is when you are co-oping with a host and they want to tell you which boss to kill first so they can get the soul they want. They use "Fatty" or "Beanpole". Simple.
