About the five ( six ) men's resting near the fire :

They reminds me of some bosses from Demon's Souls.
The left one looks like Maiden Aestrea, in the center that Big fat guy looks like a small Adjudicator, and the face of the soldiers is Old Monk's. :-)))

well, i doubt that they are, but i hope the trailer means that NPC's are more prevalent/useful

project dark = demon's souls prequal ?

featuring bosses of DS1 , whom once were heroes and ended up becoming demon's allies?

i don't mind this plot at all :)

i dont think it is because there werent any demons before the fog came and as soon as it did, started demons souls, maybe the guys around the fire r bad and its a clan or trying to make a clan to attack and take everything over

I really doubt this has anything to do with DS other than gameplay, atomsphere ect.

So, essentially what you are saying is that this is Demon's Souls 2 in everything but name.

Story / Lore etc.

DS2 would be a continuation of DS1; not have familiar atmosphere or gameplay with nothing else related.

FPS games all have the same mechanics (more or less with minor differences) but none are the SAME game.

i just hope this game will have more armor sets. Thats the only thing i didnt like about DE, the small number of armors it offered, and except brushwood and thief one, they didnt like something, at least for me.

If you look at the trailer, it also only says ps3.

this seems realistic. You may have predicted the game.
