Is there any? With the amount of times you die, you end up being hallow more then human so should I waste my humanity on going human or use it on kindling

1) appearance
2) you can't summon in hollow form
3) you won't be invaded in hollow form
4) you need to be human to gain advantages from humanity
5) you need to be human to kindle at a campfire

You need to be human to kindle bonfires

You also need to be human to summon other players/npcs, which is the biggest help.

DO you really need to be in human form to take advantage of humanity???

On the stats screen, drop rate goes up with humanity... even if you are a hollow.

How do you actually gain humanity anyways, other than by using the Humanity items? I've noticed that sometimes I'll suddenly have one or two humanity wihtout having any clue how I got it.
