Hi! I'm Crevox. I'm a Sorcerer.

I want to compile a list of spells. So here we go. We'll start with Sorcery and then go to Pyromancy. I'm going to miss some, cause I don't have them all yet... but it's enough to get you started and more!

Sorcery

Trainer locations
Griggs of Vinheim: Undead Burg. Trapped in a barrel after defeating the Gargoyles, before the Capra Demon. Roll to break the barrel. He will then show up in Firelink Shrine.

Rickert of Vinheim: New Londo Ruins. Immediately available near the beginning of the area in a cage.

Big Hat Logan: Sen's Fortress. He is in a cage that is locked; you need a key from jumping across a bridge near the end of the fortress. He will then show up in Firelink Shrine.

Soul Arrow
Location: Start, Griggs, Rickert, Logan
Slots: 1 Type: Magic
INT: 10 Uses: 30 (Max: 120)
Elemental sorcery. Fire a soul arrow.
Soul arrows inflict magic damage, making them effective against iron armor, tough scales, and other physically resilient materials.
Personal Note: Damage enemy at long range. Blue arrow.

Great Soul Arrow
Location: Griggs, Logan
Slots: 1 Type: Magic
INT: 14 Uses: 20 (Max: 40)
Sorcery which improves upon Soul Arrow. Fire strong soul arrow.
At the Vinheim Dragon School, the acquisition of this spell marks an apprentice's coronation as a sorcerer.
Personal Note: Damage enemy at long range. More damage than Soul Arrow. Purple arrow.

Heavy Soul Arrow
Location: Griggs, Rickert
Slots: 1 Type: Magic
INT: 12 Uses: 12 (Max: 24)
Soul sorcery emphasizing power. Fire heavy soul arrow.
A more powerful, but also slower sorcery. Difficult to use due to a long cool down and a limitation on the number of castings.
Personal Note: Damage enemy at long range. More damage than Soul Arrow/Great Soul Arrow, long cast time. Big blue arrow.

Great Heavy Soul Arrow
Location: Griggs, Logan
Slots: 1 Type: Magic
INT: 16 Uses: 8 (Max: 16)
Sorcery which improves upon Heavy Soul Arrow. Fire strong heavy soul arrow.
As difficult to use as Heavy Soul Arrow, but powerful enough to make it well worth it. Adored by certain sorcerers.
Personal Note: Damage enemy at long range. Highest damage Soul Arrow, long cast time. Big purple arrow.

Homing Soulmass
Location: Logan
Slots: 1 Type: Magic
INT: 18 Uses: 10 (Max: 10)
Sorcery developed by Big Hat Logan. Fire homing soulmass.
Life originates in the soul; no wonder the soulmass draws toward it. This sorcery is a window into seeker Logan's methods.
Personal Note: Surround yourself with blue lights, that will fly at the first nearby enemy, each inflicting damage. If they touch a wall, they dissipate. Amount of shots increases in number based on INT, to a maximum of 5.

Soul Spear
Location: Logan
Slots: 1 Type: Magic
INT: 36 Uses: 4 (Max: 4)
Sorcery developed by Big Hat Logan. Fire piercing soul spear.
A symbol of Logan's strength, the soul spear is referenced repeatedly in the legends, and is said to be on par with Lord Gwyn's lightning.
Personal Note: ???

Magic Weapon
Location: Griggs, Logan
Slots: 1 Type: Magic
INT: 10 Uses: 5 (Max: 10)
Sorcery for casters who wield swords. Magic augmentation: right weapon.
The power of the magic swordsmen of Vinheim is predicated upon this and Magic Shield. Many warriors learn sorcery just for this.
Personal Note: Requires catalyst to be equipped in off-hand. Causes weapon to inflict additional magic damage on swing, based on the user's INT. Lasts about 1 minute. Causes weapon to glow blue.

Magic Shield
Location: Griggs, Logan
Slots: 1 Type: Magic
INT: 10 Uses: 5 (Max: 10)
Sorcery for casters who wield swords. Magic augmentation: left shield.
Shields augmented by magic are resistant to magic attacks and have higher stability. This spell makes it possible to challenge powerful foes with a small shield.
Personal Note: Reduces the amount of stamina needed to block attacks, increases the damage the shield will absorb, and decreases chance of knockback. Lasts about 30 seconds. Causes shield to glow blue.

Aural Decoy
Location: Griggs
Slots: 1 Type: Magic
INT: 10 Uses: 20 (Max: 20)
Sorcery used by playful sorcerers. Lure enemies away by creating a sound originating in the distance.
This spell is not the first choice for serious sorcerers, but it has a surprising amount of applications, some of them extremely effective.
Personal Note: Causes all enemies nearby point of impact to run towards and even attack the decoy. Projectile is a series of small blue circles, and when it hits something, it lingers for a few seconds, pulsing blue circles.

Hush
Location: ??? (don't remember)
Slots: 1 Type: Magic
INT: 15 Uses: 6 (Max: 6)
Sorcery developed by a certain surreptitious sorcerer at Vinheim Dragon School. Masks all noises of caster.
Effectively, Vinheim is controlled by the Dragon School, and it is no wonder that the town has its share of dark secrets.
Personal Note: Removes all noise created by movement, including noise generated by running through water. Causes feet to glow blue.

Fall Control
Location: Griggs
INT: 15 Uses: 10 (Max: 10)
Sorcery developed by a certain surreptitious sorcerer at Vinheim Dragon School. Reduce damage and noise from fall.
This sorcery, along with Hush, explains the extravagant cost of hiring Vinheim spooks.
Personal Note: Greatly reduces (and even nullifies) damage from falling, allowing you to fall MUCH farther without taking damage, if any. If a fall would be fatal (falling somewhere you shouldn't, jumping off watermills) you will still die before you even land. Causes feet to glow blue.

Pyromancy

Trainer locations
Laurentius of the Great Swamp: Depths. Trapped in a barrel (roll to break). After freeing, he will be in Firelink Shrine.

Quelana of Izalith: Blighttown. On an island directly out from Quelaag's Domain, at the end of the area. Only visible when you know a certain number of Pyromancy spells, or have catalyst upgraded to a certain amount (10?) (undetermined).

Chaos Servant: Quelaag's Domain. Requires you to be a member of the Chaos Servant covenant after defeating Chaos Witch Quelaag. Some spells are purchased from Eingyi, and some are granted for free from Quelaag's sister for ranking up in the covenant.

Fireball
Location: Laurentius, Quelana
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 8 (Max: 16)
Standard pyromancy of the Great Swamp. Hurl fireball.
The fire damage caused by fireballs makes them effective against corporeal beasts and Undead, who by nature fear flame.
Personal Note: Slow cast, single target fireball. Throws forward and then goes downward. Small size.

Fire Orb
Location: Laurentius, Quelana
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 6 (Max: 12)
Pyromancy which improves upon Fireball. Hurl fire orb.
The flaming fire orb explodes upon impact, causing fire spell damage in a spectacle which seems to symbolize the strength of the fire-manipulating pyromancers.
Personal Note: Slow cast, small area damage fireball. Throws forward and then goes downward. Medium size, more damage than Fireball.

Great Fireball
Location: Quelana
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 4 (Max: 4)
Ultimate fireball pyromancy. Hurl giant fireball.
Salaman the Master Pyromancer, also called the Great Fireball after this spell, believed pyromancy was rooted in an adoration of fire. Those who acquire this spell usually agree.
Personal Note: Slow cast, medium area damage fireball. Throws forward and then goes downward. Large size, more damage than Fire Orb.

Great Chaos Fireball
Location: Chaos Servant (Rank 0, upon joining, no soul cost)
Slots: 2 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 4 (Max: 4)
Art of the Flame of Chaos, which engulfed the Witch of Izalith and her daughters. Hurl giant chaos fireball, which changes strength depending on humanity.
The flames of Chaos can melt stone, producing a short-lived lava glob.
Personal Note: Slow cast, medium area damage chaos fireball. Throws forward and then goes downward. Large size, chaos flame (very red), same initial damage as Great Fireball. Leaves a lava pool behind that will hit every enemy within one additional time for an additional ~30% damage (can stagger enemy).

Firestorm
Location: Quelana
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 20 (Max: 20)
Primal pyromancy taught by Quelana of Izalith. Erect fire pillars in vicinity.
The storm of flame is indiscriminate, and incinerates all nearby life.
Personal Note: Very slow cast. Upon use, will spawn 17 fire pillars at random locations around the user in a large area. Each pillar that spawns consumes 1 use, and if interrupted, pillars stop spawning. If you have less than 17 uses, it will spawn pillars equal to number of uses remaining. Each pillar deals about as much damage as Fireball, and can only hit a boss every few seconds (usually about 3 hits).

Chaos Storm
Location: Chaos Servant (Rank 2, give 30 humanity, no soul cost)
Slots: 2 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 20 (Max: 20)
Art of the Flame of Chaos, which engulfed the Witch of Izalith and her daughters. Erect localized chaos fire pillars which change strength depending on humanity.
The Witch of Izalith, in an ambitious attempt to copy the First Flame, created instead the Flame of Chaos, a twisted bed of life.
Personal Note: Refer to Firestorm. Each chaos fire pillar (very red) leaves behind an a lava pool, dealing additional damage. Upon use, the area fades dark a bit.

Combustion
Location: Laurentius, Quelana
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 16 (Max: 32)
Elementary pyromancy. Create powerful flame in hand.
One of the most basic pyromancies. For this very reason, the flame thus created is fierce.
Personal Note: Instant, very short range fire damage. Deals damage similar to Fireball.

Great Combustion
Location: Quelana
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 8 (Max: 8)
Pyromancy which improves upon Combustion. create powerful, giant flame in hand.
Great Combustion creates a powerful flame, but many sorcerers mock the simplicity of this spell.
Personal Note: Instant, very short range fire damage. Small area of effect, deals more damage than Combustion.

Fire Whip
Location: Quelana
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 80 (Max: 80)
Primal pyromancy taught by Quelana of Izalith. Sweep foes with fire whip.
The root pyromancy of Combustion, but much more difficult to wield.
Personal Note: Channeled fire spray in an area in front. Fire sprays around like a whip straight ahead. Rapidly consumes 21 uses upon cast, can be interrupted. If less than 21 uses remain, fire will stop emitting mid-channel.

Poison Mist
Location: Blighttown (larva miniboss), Eingyi
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 3 (Max: 6)
Unique pyromancy crafted by Eingyi, considered a heretic even at the Great Swamp. Create poison mist.
Eingyi became an egg-bearing Undead who serves a deformed young girl who speaks an unintelligible tongue.
Personal Note: Emit a large purple cloud of gas from the mouth straight ahead. Lingers in the area, constantly inflicting poison status to enemies. If enemies stand in it long enough, they will become poisoned, dealing 3 damage every couple seconds.

Toxic Mist
Location: Eingyi
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 1 (Max: 1)
Unique pyromancy crated by Eingyi, considered a heretic even at the Great Swamp. Create intense poison mist.
Why was Eingyi driven from the Great Swamp? One only need cast this pyromancy, a perverse diversion from the art of fire, to find out.
Personal Note: Emit a large deep purple/blue cloud of gas from the mouth straight ahead. Lingers in the area, constantly inflicting toxic status to enemies. If enemies stand in it long enough, they will become toxic. Damage untested.

Flash Sweat
Location: Quelana
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 3 (Max: 3)
Pyromancy of Carmina, who harnessed the power of flame to actualize the inner-self. Intense sweating reduces flame damage.
Carmina, the most accomplished pupil of Salaman the Master Pyromancer, pioneered new directions for the art of pyromancy.
Personal Note: Greatly reduces fire damage for a short time. Also effective against lava. Causes you to have a watery appearance. Cannot be active at the same time as Iron Flesh.

Iron Flesh
Location: ??? (don't remember)
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 3 (Max: 3)
Pyromancy of Carmina, who harnessed the power of flame to actualize the inner-self. Iron flesh boosts defense and resilience.
Use of this pyromancy requires caution, as the caster becomes exceedingly heavy and unable to move freely.
Personal Note: Greatly decreases physical (magic untested) damage, makes you much harder to stagger/interrupt, and causes weak enemy attacks to bounce off (one handed swords, for example). Increases weight level to >75%, preventing running and rolling, and forcing you to walk. Stat changes are not visible in status menu. Causes you to have a stone-like appearance. Cannot be active at the same time as Flash Sweat.

Power Within
Location: ??? (don't remember)
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 1 (Max: 1)
Pyromancy of Carmina, who harnessed the power of flame to actualize the inner-self. Short strength/endurance boost, but lose HP.
Excessive power eats away the life-force of its caster, and like all dangerous spells, Power Within was kept secret for eons.
Personal Note: Increases physical damage dealt, increases defense. Stat changes are not visible in status menu. Dealt 21 damage per second to me with 818 max HP. Lasts 60 seconds, and causes you to glow red.

Undead Rapport
Location: Quelana
Slots: 1 Type: Pyromancy
Uses: 7 (Max: 7)
Advanced pyromancy by Quelana of Izalith. Charm Undead and gain temporary allies.
The living are lured by flame, and this relationship is part and parcel to the art of pyromancy. Can be used by either gender.
Personal Note: Long cast, very short range frontal touch. Charms one undead to attack enemies in the area. The undead will not follow you, and will start receiving damage from enemy attacks. Your attacks will still inflict damage to the charmed undead, allowing you to kill it while it stands and does nothing. Does not seem to react well to nearby enemies. Lasts 30-60 seconds, and causes the undead's eyes to glow pink.

I got fire surge and acid surge in the painting place. I have great magic weapon also but don't recall where I got it. :(
#10Bullshifty12Posted 10/7/2011 10:07:45 PM
Good list.

Big Hat Logan has more advanced spells but you need to free him from Sen's Fortress first.
