One hundred percent optional level, and I wonder how many people actually do it.

I killed the dragon, but when I got to the boss, and was given the choice of fighting or running off the edge, I just ran. I'm thinking I should have fought her, though. Can you just jump back in the painting and try again?

Also, the spinning wheel skeletons are the worse enemies so far. >:(

I did it, and hated it. Those flame-spewing enemies are ****ing annoying.

Anyway, yes, you can return to it the same way you came in.

theres some great loot. and its a hard grind but the first 3 dredgelings you fight give like 500 xp total and its right near a bonfire so you can level up easily too there. im stuck on the boss though. and i hate how i cant go back to anor londo without killing her now that shes aggro towards me.

as for the world itself i think its kind of cool. the solider turtle in the main room reminds me of phalanx from DS but i wish theyd dissapear once you killed all of them. and yeah the toxic fire guys are annoying especially since you cant go back and farm moss.

and the better question is, which zombie dragon is better? the painted world one or the one in the valley?

Painting world? I've searched there and found no way to go on... Gotta try it again. I'm probably missing a door or two.

from the area with the solider cluster theres a path down into a sewer where you open a path to the boss door. other than that its just trial and error until you find the right way. if you can make it to the tower near the zomie dragon

For help on the boss, sprint to the stairs so she will have to go onto the narrow path to slash you with her scythe. The moment you block a strike, swing your cool stuff so she's visible and use lock-on to stay on her butt and do her in
