Lightning Bastard sword or Claymore?

I like the speed of these two weapons, and I cant get Black Knight sword anymore, I think I've killed all of them.. I'm going to switch back between one of these swords and my lightning Halberd I've decided, and I was wondering which one is best to upgrade to lightning.

EDIT: STR VIT END Knight. All 3 of those in mid 20's, SL 53. at four kings.

Which ever has a higer base damage, will be stronger and the long haul.

Is lightning Bastard Sword a good idea?

Might as well go claymore, it hurts more right?

Lightning Claymore is one of the most popular PvP weapons right now.

Personally, I use a lightning Zweihander, but I have the Dark Knight Sword as well.

Bastard Sword does 105 base, claymore does 103.

I just want something good for the four kings and pretty much everything else. I'm kind of tired of constant poking with my Halberd and Lightning spear.

The reason why you can only have 1 claymore in the whole game is because it is basically a fricken halberd with the better GS moveset.

Its damage range is very large, probably 20% than the regular Bastard sword.
Sometime you get hit for no good reason in pvp because you misjudged the range after a dodge.

So I should make the Claymore lightning +5 then?
