With the new patch on the way...will Occult overtake the Divine path?

I hope they actually give the dark attribute a purpose with the patch. Divine can at least kill the skeletons, but weapons with the dark attribute don't do a damn thing special. Why show it on the weapon screen if it doesn't do anything?

Good damn question, we now only assume it hurts "holy" knights in anor londo so far.

well aperreintly the gods are afraid of it, why esle would be in the panted world. so, i think it should do more damage to them.

It depends on how they rebalance things, if they do at all. Actually altering the scaling would be the most difficult, as it would likely have wildly unpredictable results. If they instead just nerf elemental weapons, then, well, little will change in terms of the current balance among scaling weapons.
