People do know that Dark Souls on steam will still use GFWL right? (most likely)

Skyrim doesn't! It has it's own Steam achievements and community and everything! There's hope!

But that just made me think... you're probably right, though, because Steam people would probably not be able to play with GFWL people otherwise.

Edit: I just googled... Skyrim never used GFWL. But, still, Steam people would probably not be able to play with GFWL people otherwise. :(

I think people are just happy that it'll be available to add to their steam libraries, as opposed to being only sold through windows live or something a la BF3 and Origin.

And Ether, I think you're a bit confused as to the difference between a Steamworks title (Skyrim) and a game being purchasable on Steam.
