Parry is Impossible

There, I said it.
It feels great to say it too.
Parry is impossible online.
I've not ONCE been able to consistently parry ANYTHING online.
Nor have I seen ANYONE else consistently parry anything.

I would love to see someone really explaining and displaying the parry timings for this game and it's weapons.

Not some general overview of how it works; parry early, block the first few hits of an R1 spam, etc etc etc. but an actual display of someone consistently parrying people.

EWGF has a very helpful parry video on youtube.

***He has other very good videos as well, you should check them out. They helped me tremendously when I was new to PvP.

Parrying is almost Impossible if you're fighting foreigner because they tend to be very laggy.

Parry is more of a guess than a skill. The only thing you can do is make better guesses.

Umm, no. I parry rather consistently in pvp against katana and greatsword users mostly. Same with ultra weapon users.

Like I said, conceptual stuff is useless with out any sort of detailed description.
I'm not talking about a detailed description of the theory.

Every time he lands a parry, he's basically just citing the theory that he utilized and not how it was executed in the specific scenario.

-What Rhythm?
-What's the timing?
-Early? Late? When you see him swing? Instantly after the block?
-You were using a shield with a bigger parry window, is that necessary? How much does that effect the method? Different timing or just easier?

Just saying, you're going to die a lot until you get the hang of it is almost as useless as providing no information at all.
