Sif: #1 most useless summon?

#11VidmorPosted 11/12/2012 12:32:35 PM
I think it's more that Tarkus is unnecessary. The golem is one of the easiest bosses, even on your first playthrough. To be honest, I found Sif to be helpful in his ability to soak damage and take the heat off of me. Made the Manus fight a lot less stressful.

Eh, I think there are plenty more useless human summons than sif!

It actually surprises me some times how some people can be so bad at PvE. I guess that's why they summon people in the first place

Yes I'm bitter.

The fact so many people reflexively bash Beatrice to troll only further solidifies that she is the best summon, because it's been shaped to where implying otherwise is trolling.

As for most useless summon, my vote goes to Tarkus.

Replace "OrnsteinAndSmough" with "Twilight_Knight".

Beatrice is worthless. Deal with it.

All wrong.

Lautrec for Gaping Dragon.

*pulls out Parrying Dagger*

*tries to parry charge*

Squish.

Sif doesn't give Manus any more health when summoned, and he doesn't take up a co-op slot (so you can still have 2 other players with you).

Now compared to Beatrice, who gives the 4 Kings more health, takes up a slot, draws very little aggro since she's a caster, and does low burst damage that doesn't even match the health boost they get. She;s horrible.

\o/ Administering jolly ass-whoopings everyday.

wut?

I can summon Tarkus, enter fog door, then leave the game to make sandwich and eat it.

By the time I get back I'm ready for Anor Londo

I had no idea you could even summon Lautrec for Gaping Dragon.

PSN - dthomas125 - I think myself that we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious.

I never thought about that, but I guess he's inside the boss room, so the boss HP is already fixed by the time you summon him. I'm surprised his sign still shows up after you already have 2 phantoms though.

beatrice on 4 kings

Agreed. Makes the fight much more difficult.
