dont listen to them TC 1100+ and you will manage well.

Until you get hornet ring backstabbed or leo ring parried and find out that you're wrong.

were arguing different play styles here, but the point of disagreement is when you regard vitality gouging as a necessity, which it isnt. Just stop it.

you dont need 1500 health for good pvp and never will. Thats it. end of story

Vit gouging is not needed, it just depends on your play style.

My str/fai character hits for 800+ with a 2hand r2 attack from Dragon Tooth +5 with Sunlight Blade.

So no, 1100 hp is not enough.
You were indicted.

Below 1500 is considered low, as another guy has said.

That's the "low" baseline.

1800 HP is a great point to reach. Anything less and you're looking at a disadvantage, IMO

This is definately NOT true.

Anything below 1500 is lower than normal but skill > stats so if you use DWGR or have very high defense for example you can get away with lower HP.

Don't listen to anyone that tells you that all builds should be build a certain way.

PvP topics used to say "don't come to me with build advice if you don't have END at 40" now it's no longer a must have any many people roll with END in the 30's.

So based on the consensus pretty much everyone has to use RoFaP and MoM?

Playing against good people who go for combos with most of their attacks or a bs (which can lead to combos); or against buff builds I go for at least 1700-1800 (around 45 Vit+ w/ Ring of Favor). Otherwise I would just dump what ever you have left there as filler to get to your desired sl.
If you build your shop in front of an arrow trap, sometimes you are going to get shot by an arrow.
