Dark Souls made a point to show how different it was from the current popular RPGs. This game's trailer didn't do that. Aside from white masks and a dragon with an extra eye, nothing was really unique to me. It just seemed like a normal, cinematic RPG that I'll probably eventually buy, find it boring, then trade it in at Gamestop for like a memory card or something lame.

didn't get any of that? You can't be that oblivious to how companies work. I just know when I saw Dark Souls' trailer, I got wet seeing all the coolass monsters. In Dark Souls 2's trailer, I didn't see much in the monster department, it was more character-focused, not monster-focused. I dig the Souls games for the monsters.
