What do you guys think, do you think Dark Souls deserves to win a "best story" type award? How do you interpret Dark Souls story?
To me I think Dark Souls is the best kind of story telling, open ended and open to interpretation. The types of stories that are open to interpretation like this can be told and retold forever. The subtle style of story telling I think definitely deserves to win a "best story" award. ---

Eh, best story award would go to something where the story absolutely sucks you in. You can blast through Dark and say "What story? There was a story?" --- Silvy owns my pants...and my soul. Please sign this petition if you want the bbox glitch in Dark Souls: http://tinyurl.com/9f9gv8y you are our only hope.

Do you really think a story that people have to actually THINK about would win an award in modern times? --- Give me a good enough signature to use, and I'll replace this one.

I'd give it best story since unlike other games, the story didn't interfere with my enjoyment of the game. If I want to read tons of text or watch a bunch of cut scenes I'll read a book or watch a movie. Lasted less than 5 hours on Dragon Age and Fallout 3 cuz there was no game play...

It has some curious details, but bits and pieces of information scattered in item descriptions does not make a good story. --- http://i.imgur.com/etm6C.gif http://i.imgur.com/zW7Ef.gif
