Which game has deeper lore: This or Skyrim?

No... Just no...

Truly, your argument is so compelling that I have no choice but to admit defeat...

The fact is, most of the NPC's in the game (and there aren't many to begin with) barely have anything to say and most of what little they do actually say is vague and cryptic. Then you've got item descriptions which mention a lot of different people and places but provide next to no real information about any of them. So what we're left with are a few dozen names of people and places and an average of maybe two lines of information about each of them.

That's not "minimalistic" storytelling, that's borderline "nonexistant" storytelling. Just because you can make up a random story on your own to try to make sense of it doesn't mean the lore is deep or expansive. It is neither.

Skyrim has a piss poor game that's trying so hard to be epic,

dragonborn lol whatever the **** that means

^ Somebody sounds bitter about the fact that their PS3 can't run it properly.

For the same reason souls fanboys are on the skyrim/cod board.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is far superior. I wouldn't exactly consider TES to be "dark" fantasy though, so I won't argue that one. I'd also say that Risen is a hell of a lot better too (even if Risen 2 kind of sucked).

A lot of people. Just to tell the board how awesome this game is and how much better it is than other games..
