it looks like we have a comedian on our hands.
Sure, im not great at this game.
but they did a really good job at making this game horrible for you if you
A. only want to play with your friend(s)
B. play with normal controls made for human hands

those are my only complaints.

I also (For fun) tried to fight that blue knight near the beginning.
Of course, I find out he continues to aggro you even after you lose
*2 hour long battle ensues*
or the option of restarting the tutoral of course (oh what fun)


Equip a shield in your off-hand, wait for him to attack, press L2, when he reels back, press R1.

Do this 2-3 times depending on what your char has in his/her main hand. A bit "hard" of a fight at that point but since you've already went and aggro'd him it's a good time to practice parrying.

That's the beauty of DS/DkS, when you f*** up, you have to learn how to deal with it/fix it, whining usually isn't going to work things out.

will dark souls 2 allow you to change the controls? edit: I already beat that guy,

only, it was a joke. the rest is 100% truth. Im just bad at this game honestly. But I give about half of it to the controls. this isn't an FPS. why is R1/R2 my fighting buttons? I'd much prefer Square and X.
