It depends on the difficulty setting. On Normal the game is pretty easy. On Classic you'll be getting gunned down whenever the enemies get critical hits. You also get fewer resources and buildings in your base when starting out(some of them have prerequisites before they can even be built, like the important Officer Training School). --- "I'd rather betray the world than let the world betray me." -Cao Cao

Stalker on the hardest difficulty is hard, but you do have quick saving which is game breaking when abused.

But see that's the thing. Dark Souls just has one mode.
Imagine if Dark Souls had a hard mode (assuming the current one is "easy/normal").
