With builds that rely mostly on casting I tend to stay mostly locked on.

shoe7essPosted 1/23/2013 2:16:05 PM | When I stopped using lock on I became a lot better at PvP, I'm like a pro with unlocked backstabs now. Only things I use it for are the occasional trash in PvE, and mainly for quick repositioning.

AlltraPosted 1/23/2013 2:24:52 PM | I use it most of the time. I've tried PvPing without lockon, and it seems like more a liability than a help. I mean, if there's some trick to making it work well, I can't figure it out. It just seems to get me killed more often. It's kind of like Backstab fishing or Parrying, I can't do it during PvP, it just gets me killed faster.

Parsl5kPosted 1/23/2013 3:15:48 PM | Most of the time. I'm too used to doing instant dash attacks both in pve and pvp. You can't do those locked off. The only times I really lock off are for pivotstabs, rollstabs, and while using stuff like zwei and mura. |
