I am so confused.

I realize certain covenants can mix things around. And I am talking about HELPFUL phantom summoning. We aren't dueling or anything.

What minimal difference in soul level do you need in order to play with each other?

Did the DLC change anything around? Any patches? Etc?

And is there STILL no way of "deleveling" like Demon's Souls had? (which was amazing)

It's 10 levels + or - 10% of your current level, so you could summon him, but he can't quite summon you. At 41 he should be able to summon you.

Actually it's +/- 15% after the last patch I heard.

I didn't know about the 10% aspect.

So strange! I guess he needs to level up a bit then, because I have most of the bosses beat. There's nowhere I could summon him.

My math skills are terrible. Does that mean there's a bigger window for summoning people or different soul levels, or a smaller window?

Could be, I don't really know.

Bigger window. If you were level 100...

15% of 100 = 15. And then an extra 10 levels. So you could co-op up to level 125. Before, when it was 10%, it would have only been up to level 120.

tell your friend to be lv. 41 or higher just to be sure.

I always thought it's +/- 10 lvls. + 10% of player lvl. but it gets increased (to 15%???) when u join one of the co-op covenants. could be wrong tho
