How do I deal with the persuers spell?

#1ValronicPosted 2/7/2013 5:49:53 PM
I can get my way in pvp more often than not but this spell leaves me scratching my head.
At first I tried evasion and that simply didnt work. The little beasts will do a complete 180 to track me. I then tried blocking it with the stone shield. You know... the round mossy one.

I though 80% would be enough but it isnt. I am currently working a build to wield the havel shield just for this (not that the havel is bad) but im worried it too may not be enough.

Thoughts?

Dwgr makes it a lot easier too.

If you were using Stone Great Shield, chances are you were mid-rolling like a slug all over the place.

If you don't have the confidence to roll toward them, do this:
Fast-roll left. Wait for the black orbs to be on your right. Fast-roll right. You will avoid them, I guarantee. Just be careful of incoming anal beads.

If you are still screwing it, just equip DWGR. Problem solved.

DWGR.

Unlock sprint in opposite direction intermingled with flipping until its duration runs out.

Use the scenery to absorb the projectiles (Pursuers will disappear the second they touch anything).

Great Magic Barrier.

Silver Pendant.

Don't let them cast that s*** in the first place.

Etc etc.

Rolling through them just before they reach you is best - they all hit the ground.

Why? Because **** you is why.

You stab them the instant you see them hold their arm up for more than 1 second.

If you can't make it, get distance.

If they are twirling like a ballerina, just kick em.
