Miyazaki just confirmed Demon's Souls will be released on Wii U in 2015.

because of the wait though, he complied with it being the "prepare to die edition" google it.

It's a stop gap, not an actual console in itself. They need to go back to Gamecube/Dreamcast style for the next console. Btw, XBOX was decent (Ninja Gaiden Black, Fable: Lost Chapters, Halo, etc.) 360 though...

yeah but Xbox menu is FULL of advertisements Where as ours is a box in the top right/playstation store xmb menu area.

The joysticks are the epitome of what would be a tumor in the joystick world <---- THERE DIRECTIONAL PAD ALSO DOUBLES AS AN ANALOG/SORT OF.... WTF ? You Already Have 2 why make a partial 3rd ?sometimes pushing up you now go right BS!

everything is so.... square and not rounded edges ... enough iss enough /rantover (even though there is a list of 10,000,000,000,000 wrongs)

What's a Wii U?

Are you living under a rock? It's nintendo's new platform.

That would be almost plausible, except Demon's Souls is a Sony-owned IP. Nice try.

There are no plans for any souls games on the WiiU at this time, though I understand there will be a Monster Hunter soon.

LOL.

ORB, you should be able to get this one from one of your alias trolls tonight.

ORB,

A serious question. Yes, you can answer from one of your alias accounts as well if you like. Do you actually have a Wii U? If so, is it any good? I just don't see paying $300+ for a new console with an outdated touchpad and a processor barely better than the PS3 or XBOX360. The only way I might actually be tempted into buying it is if the new Monster Hunter HD will be good and have a large online community.

The strongest point of the WiiU (other than its HD output) is that it's backwards compatible with all previous Wii games, and it even uses the original Wii controllers as well. This is important, because the library of WiiU games is currently next to nothing, largely consisting of ports of pre-existing PS3/360 games and games that are released on all three systems. There aren't even many first-party titles, and even the Mario game is a rehash.

I was watching the WiiU to see how its library would do keeping it in mind until the better games started coming out to validate the system purchase, but the one I was most looking forward to was Ubisoft's Rayman Legends which was recently pushed back from this February until far-off September. And the reason for this delay? To make the once WiiU exclusive game multiplatform and have a simultaneous WiiU/360/PS3 release. This right there indicates a rather severe lack of third-party faith even among those most willing to take advantage of the system's new features.

Yes, Monster Hunter looks like a new Monster Hunter, but I won't buy a system for a single game, and there's just nothing else tempting me right now. What else is there to salvage the system other than the extensive pre-existing Wii library?
