Because of two reasons: Demon Souls and the fact that Dark Souls is the best game in the world. --- won't change this sig until pittsburgh steelers gets their 7th ring http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2eVPxvaIzec
Harder to hack. I worry about the PS4 for that very reason. Some devs see the PS3's learning curve as costly and time-consuming, which it is, but it tends to weed out the amateur hackers, so you actually end up selling more games. I would never develop for PCs because of the rampant piracy. The other funny one is the 'used games' issue. Everyone wants a new game. Some can't afford it, or it is no longer made. People who sell their games have more money to buy more new games. Everyone wins, even the devs, but they are too blind to see it. And if I can't sell my game, then I actually don't own it. It is called a lease. "Right to use" and "own" are very different things. I probably own over 300 video games. I have no interest in leasing one. --- Forest trees are greener.
