he took a couple tries but sens in general was a huge pain in the *** and i had some kind of glitch with tarkus. his summon sign just wouldn't appear. and yes, i was human. i joined a friends game a few days ago and he summoned tarkus and he died, so i figure it glitched into my game somehow. anyway, i'm playing offline to avoid flickers and no tarkus so i was on my own and the first couple tries, he got me when i was trying to get in close. one time i accidentally rolled off the edge cause i couldn't see from the lock on.
anyway, this time i said **** it, equipped +10 zwei in my main hand and +5 claymore in my off hand. ran in, no lock on and just mashed away at him. took all of 30 seconds. toss all plans out the window and run in swinging like a madman. same strategy i finally beat havel with.
i....LOVE this game. can't believe it took me a year and a half to get into it.
and BTW, anor londo is gorgeous. --- XB Gamertag - BeardedXBatman PSN ID - BeardedXBatman
I was around level 40 at the time. And it wasn't the golem himself that was a problem, it was auxiliary factors like the finicky lock on, getting knocked off the sides and getting through sens itself. Like i said, when I just ran in swinging, I killed him in about 30 secs. --- XB Gamertag - BeardedXBatman PSN ID - BeardedXBatman
