What system are you using?
1. go to my computer 2. Documents and settings 3. Your user name 4. Application settings 5. Minecraft 6. Saves - Should be folders corresponding to the world you are in
Copy the savegame onto a portable memory device and insert in the same folder
1. Go to computer - hard drive 2. Username then library 3. Application support 4. Minecraft 5. Saves - same again^
Hope I helped! --- Whelan 12: "time limit would have titanic effect but istead of iceberg it hit floating zombies and queen bee"

Super easy, just find where you installed it, find the folder 'save' and back it up. Which operating system do you use?

Put it on a USB drive. Find your world then copy the whole thing into the USB drive, then when you want to put it on another computer, just open up the "worlds" folder and replace one of the empty worlds with it. (example, if your world is world 1, you would delete world 1 on the other computer and paste your own world 1 in its place) --- Chicago63

Ok, I have the worlds and everything in my folder, but I don't know how to transfer it onto my Minecraft file. Can someone explain that to me now? Thanks --- I will not change this signature until Buckethead rules the world! R.I.P Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan

my computer type in %appdata% in the address bar hit enter you should see a folder called minecraft --- http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk79/sharpshot317/CE/a_bunch_of_rocks.png just put this here to take up space

Yeah, Minecraft keeps all of the good stuff in a hidden folder called "roaming." You can find it by searching your machine for "%appdata%"
The first result is usually the roaming folder. --- GET AGAINST THE TREE!!! ~ The Sage of Shadow ~
