I want to show a friend how much I built in Minecraft. How can I share the level with him?

Upload the save file onto an uploader site like Filefront, and have him download it. You could also transfer it using a flash drive.

Screen shots would also work...

In singleplayer, just go to %appdata%\.minecraft\saves and put the worldx file in an archive (x = the number of the world).

Where Do I find the file of the level? Minecraft is saved to my desktop and I don't know where to look for the level save.

start>search "%appdata%" w/o quotation marks>.minecraft>saves>world#

compress that file with winrar or whatever, upload it to sendspace, give your friend the link and have him put the world folder into his saves folder. If he already has a world with the # you used, tell him to drag his old one to the desktop or just rename it world#old.

Another way to get there would be through the Minecraft launcher where it says mods and texture packs. Hit that, then go back into the minecraft folder and find the saves folder that way.

Got it. Funny, the size after compressing it is another 10 MB bigger than what Minecraft said it was.

I ran into a group of men trying to take an old lady's purse and decided it was my duty to help out. She was a tough old broad, but in the end we got her purse.
