Zelda Adventure!!!

This is an awesome little map+mod combo I found today!
http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=195202&start=90

What you do is you extract the rar, go into the folder and look for InstallerLogin.exe
Run that with your login for minecraft.
Make sure you have a clean minecraft.bin by deleting the .bin folder in appdata/.minecraft and then running the normal minecraft launcher, then exit minecraft and run the adventureCraft batch file.
Click start new world, click the zelda option, and done.
It's a pretty fun game, however it is still in beta, and the signs are in french, though they aren't ANY help at all....
But yea, show support for the person making this in the official forums!

I don't know why, but this seems like a phishing attempt.

Was doing some searches and found this thread. I can tell you its not a phishing attempt which you can verify looking at the source code if you want (which is included). Though that should be more apparent by the amount of work that has been poured into the mod and that there has been several maps developed for it. Reason there is a login version for installing the mod is due to the high number of people I had to deal with who wouldn't install a fresh Minecraft (dropped immensely the number of support I had to do for people needing help installing AdventureCraft).

A couple AdventureCraft maps I've played recently

This steals account details, using a packet sniffer and running it, it sends packets out to some proxy with you're login details in plain text, nice try hiding it behind a game, but there's smarter people then you.

By that you means it sends it to minecraft.net... There is no reason to be spreading lies.

The code that transmits the password and you can look at it in the download in InstallerLogin.java and decompile it and see it matches.

String result;
String parameters;
try
{
parameters = (new StringBuilder("user=")).append(URLEncoder.encode(userName, "UTF-8")).append("&password=").append(URLEncoder.encode(password, "UTF-8")).append("&version=").append(12).toString();
}
catch(Exception e)
{
JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, e.getMessage(), "Error", JOptionPane.ERROR_MESSAGE);
System.exit(0);
return;
}
progressMonitor.setNote("Logging In");
progressMonitor.setProgress(0);
result = excutePost("http://www.minecraft.net/game/getversion.jsp", parameters);
