I fail to understand why people are saying notch has broken his promise here. He hasn't. Even if you got it in alpha....i can understand how Notch's promises extend to the 360 version at all.
Also, if you own it on PC, why would you wanna play it on 360 anyway? in my experience only a couple of games are better on console than on PC, and the reason they're better is they're ported. 9/10 times,t he PC version is better anyway, and seeing how minecraft is a native PC game....it's most likely going to be better.

The last time somebody (Valve) tried to give away a free console version of a PC game (Portal 2), it didn't exactly work out well with the console maker's company. Notch wouldn't be able to give free Xbox copies if he wanted to.

Well, actually he said we were entitled to all future updates of the game. Minecraft 360 is not an update. However, I have faith that Notch will work out a deal to get his Alpha customers a discount on Minecraft 360 (getting it for free is just not feasible).

Really? It runs perfectly fine on my laptop with 256x texture pack, Far view distance, Fancy graphics, and hangs around 45-60fps.
