Set up a piston door that will close after a few seconds.

I'm going to make door that can only be opened one way for a pvp arena.

You walk down a hallway and step on a pressure plate which will activate the piston d0oor. But after a couple seconds the door will close behind the person allowing them no way to leave.

Anyone have any advice on how to do this?
I have little to no experience using redstone...

Thanks in advance guys!

do that but on the other side have another pressure plate with one of those red stone delayers leading to the door, oh yeah the door has to be iron

I was thinking more of sticky pistons pushing blocks to show an entrance...

I'm thinking he want's one of those doorways made of stone things. Where the pistons open up the wall and then close after a second.

You're going to want to make a memory circle with another line that resets it with a bunch of repeaters on it.

Here's a tutorial that helped me make my delayed door:

as i stated :P its insanely possible and easy to do if you want id explain it but someone already has :) use a button and a ton of repeaters at the start.
