Just got Mindcrack FTB

I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could find some kind of keyboard macro program that would simulate holding down shift for you. Really, though, you're better off just being careful around lava. I can count the number of times I've accidentally fallen in on one hand.

Also a note on steam power and EU/MJ: you're actually way better off channeling all your steam into MJ through the industrial steam engines, and using those to power magma crucibles. Smelting netherrack and then piping the lava into thermal generators actually gives you more EU than using a steam turbine, while also being way less resource-intensive (and rather than having to replace the very pricey steel turbine rotors you just dump in more plentiful netherrack).

Can you not pump liquid directly into liquid fireboxes? That sucks. I was thinking of making biofuel and using that.

I was doing some testing and the pipes would connect but no liquid wou go in. I had to use cans etc.

Do you pump it into the fireboxes or the boiler tanks? And on which side?

It definitely works. You pump fuel into the side of the fireboxes.
