Where is a good place to play coop at SL66?

(See subject line)

I have been putting down white summon signs in a couple of places that I recently beat myself, hoping to play some coop, but I never seem to get summoned. I tried putting signs outside Smough and Orenstein, and outside Seathe... no summons.

Where are people generally playing at SL66? Am I just too far behind people at this general level?

You should get some action in Anor and Painted World.

I'm SL50 and don't get summoned either :/ too bad cause I do the Ornstein Last strategy. I guess its back to Red Eye Orbing people trying to summon for the boss.

At SL 64, I got the 9 summons I needed to join Warriors of Sunlight in Anor Londo. It did take two days though.

Where in Anor Londo, exactly? Smough and Orenstein?

The painted world is good.
If not there, go to the Kiln.

Yup. But like I said, it took a long time. Sometimes I'd have to wait for an hour, I just watched some TV while waiting.

You are better off at other spots.

Anor is about level 45-50ish so it will take forever. Most likely you'd get a few NG+ summons but those are rough.

Go places people go AFTER turning in the lord vessel.

The last bonfire before Nito. The bonfire before seath. Painting world for sure has action but it's rough because people are always invading there and lots of people skip the boss when you finally get there.

I started NG+ the other day and started dropping my summon sign all over the place while just playing normally. At level 64, I got summoned for the gargoyles, Quelaag (twice), and the iron golem.

I think you might actually have a better chance being summoned for the earlier bosses. I've noticed there are a lot fewer messages after the lordvessel which makes me think a lot of people don't make it that far. And the ones that do probably don't need help.

Can I get summoned into someone else's NG+ even if I haven't beaten the game yet?

If so, I'd gladly go back and put signs down in the earlier locations.
