Dark Souls

so basically at this point anyone to pvp is going to be better than me right?

I got invaded for the first time ever (played all through demon souls without it happening once go figure)

I'm only on the 2nd or 3rd area just inside some chapel. In the middle of fighting a bunch of NPCs and I get invaded which I'm fine with but this guy is cartwheeling all over the joint ex has some weird sword that's huge but is pretty damn fast for how long it is. Long story short he kicked my ass

Honestly I'm down for fighting people but am I just fighting people within a range of my level, or does that include new game+ people with all the OP equipment? Because if that's the case ill just play offline, don't need people interrupting my **** if they are gonna be unbeatable...i have never even used the coop so I really don't care about that aspect

why cant you help him instead of being mean?

but to answer your question tc yes people who invade you are going to have better equipment better magic and miracle and more experience. to invade people as a darkmoon (who are blue) you have to at least get to anor londo which is kind of far in the game. to be a darwraith (who are red) you have to beat anor londo.

so most people who invade you know what there doing and will probably win based on that your new to the game.

In order for those red fellows to invade you they generally have to have gotten to near end game (if they are doing things in "order") in order to join the covenant that enables them to do so.

It is the nature of darkwraiths that they will most likely have better weaponry than the people they are invading, since they will have already completed most of the areas of the game.

Alright, good to know, thanks guys. Just like demon souls this game has a lot of unexplained stuff to just find out one way or another. Ill prob keep playing online....I like the wild factor. The best part was I had like 5 offers of people to come help me and I bypassed them not knowing I was in a boss area/invasion center ...oops

I've made a lot of friends that started off as invaders; playing online is much more fun.

If someone invades you, you can always send them a message after they murder you and see if they are willing to help you with the level
