You could do the Pyro starting gear since it's easy enough to get and pretty light with decent resistances.

You can wear whatever gear you want, the point of hungar games are the weapons.
You can have something in the off hand, but if you're using pyros or magic the it kinda defeats the purpose. If you want to have a shield or an off hand weapon that's fine.
Yes time will be given to equip the item before the fight. I will throw a loyds talisman to signify it's time to grab the weapons then once both players have equiped the weapons and bowed the fight will begin

Battle of the Builds sounds like twopwogdbpyro spam trololo time, like most PvP with randoms.

You miss interpret what battle of the builds means. It's to showcase awesome builds people have come up with.

Ok here's what we will do since a lot of you suggest doing this naked lol.
We will all wear the pyromancer starting gear do to it's ragged look. As for the off hand I still say a shield or small weapon will be ok unless everyone would rather have nothing in the off hand

Hunger games. Aww... can i atleast wear my viking hat (royal helm)?

I say yes to shields and what about talismans, catalyst, pyro glove?

Their fine as long as you don't use spells, pyros, or miracles. I say the pyromancer set do to a lot of people wanting to fight naked.
This is called hungar games for a reason lol. In the movie they were thrown against each other only using what weapons they grabbed and the clothes on their backs...they were NOT naked :P
