In darkroot when ever I start to win a lot of people run to the latter towards the hydra and go down? Why do people do this? I never follow them down and I doubt anyone else does. So why is it such a common tactic?

Video games make you smarter. If it wasn't for Monster Hunter i would have never noticed that 60 was divisible by 1,2,3,4,5,6,12 and 15.

Ya I know but I doubt anyone is dumb enough to fall for it. So why is it so popular?

Gankers have a tendency to fall for it.

It certainly is frustrating, what tops off the already nasty cake is when you start getting messages from the perps saying "No more invaders for you!" and whatnot. *shrugs*

This is exactly what I do to gankers in the Township. I'll hide in their world, and once secure, send them a message reminding them that so long as I'm alive they won't get any more victims. It usually pisses them off and sets them on a hunt, which more often than not I can use to my advantage. If they want to be dicks, then so will I.

And I have actually sat in the world of some gankers for over an hour and a half. I took off and watched some tv, got back and read a bit in my book, and finally provoked them enough to kill themselves. Griefing griefers. Fun stuff.
