Question about red phantoms?

Ok so I was in undead parish and I invaded someone elses world. When I got there I saw another red phantom running around so I just assumed this guy got invaded twice. After I found the host I was fighting him when the other red phantom came an killed me with a backstab. So are red phantoms enemies to everyone in other worlds or what? Really confused about what happened here.

Yes, red phantoms are everyone's "enemy".

summoned red phantoms are vasty different than darkwraiths

red soap as an item is simply for competition (lore wise) so you are indeed still against other invaders

Blue phantoms can't hurt each other. White phantoms can't hurt each other or the host. Red phantoms, however, can hurt each other. It's one of the reasons why Fight Clubs with a host and two red phantoms work.

Not quite. Forest hunters and Darkmoons can hurt each other. I don't know if Darkmoons and gravelord victims can hurt each other since they're both spirits of vengeance. To be safe, just assume those of different covenants can hurt each other.
