Best weapon for a dex/int crystal magic/power within buff build?

I have a pretty good idea for my next build but I'm not sure how high I should make my strength. Depends on which weapon I use. From what I read the balder side sword is very powerful, but don't the katanas have bleed? I figured that would make them better. Ill not be doing any invading. Just pve and a lot of co op, do I'd want a weapon that would be best for bosses, while using power within and crystal magic weapon. So any weapon and shield advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

go 14 str and you can use both a katana and the bss. if you go chaos blade +5 and a bss +15 you can cmw it for even more dmg. if you ask me, i prefer the estoc to the bss.

Crest has great overall protection, but if you want to slow the power within a lol bit don't forget that you can always go with a Sanctus lingering dragoncrest ring combo

Okay, crest. Back to the weapon. Is the balder side sword really better then the katanas for pve? Or is the bleed useful for bosses?

You can in fact bleed some bosses, not all though so It can go both ways.

Well the only bosses I still have trouble with are manus and kalameet so if I can bleed them then ill go katana. If not, then Balder side sword.

Oh my melee mage build I alternate uses between:

- Enchanted Uchigatana +5 (All around powerful weapon)
- Ricard's Rapier + 15 (To destroy bosses with CMW)
- Balder Side Sword +15 (Mainly for PvP, buffed with CMW)
- Lifehunt Scythe +5 (Badass bleed weapon PvE and PvP)
