Seems like it's gone. Sort of the natural evolution I guess. The game has been out for a year and a half now. I've been hosting in the Burg for a few hours and I haven't had a single honor duel yet.

Oh well I guess. I'm not seeing a lot of familiar faces anymore either. Maybe that's part of it.

I usually don't invade in the burg, but I tried the other day to see what I would find. Only one person did not honor duel me, but everything else was a fair 1v1. Even the invaders waited their turn and did not interfere.

Seems kind of hit an miss lately. I don't know if everyone is moving on or what. I'm still getting some good fights but few and far between. I have noticed a lot of low level invaders though. That's probably part of the reason.

I had a really long session in the Burg just last night and it was a lot of fun. Made new friends, practiced new techniques...

And then I got on about four hours ago and had nearly no fun. Crybabies everywhere, DMB+3 rushers, and all I could think was that it was prime-time for the unpleasant americans to sign in and not be fun. There were a few good ones, and some unpleasant europeans as well, but yeah, geez, I know what you mean.

I don't mind when people use dmb+3. It seems like people with buffed weapons get so confident in the damage they deal that they get super aggressive and don't really think about what they are doing. Someone playing smart with dmb would be very good, but most of them just charge at you and swing away, until they get parried and die.

Pretty much. I had to take a break from the facepalm-worthy shenanigans of modders galore. My personal favorite was a three-man gank squad I encountered the other day... all spamming what looked like infinite Karmic Justice explosions at will the second my RSS spawned me. So I'm back to goofing around in PvE and Co-Op.

Decided to make a new character in Dragon's Dogma as well. A little more entertaining, and I wanted to get my new character in DD a solid level before Dark Arisen comes out. At least, I'll try to before Metal Gear Rising comes out and I'm playing Fruit Ninja with human beings' anatomy.

Not saying it's OP or they're good, it's just not a fun fight. Like you said, the fact that they rush means that they're golden parry material.
