Any screens/videos available yet? I know the graphics will be subpar compared to the HD consoles, but hopefully this game makes clever use of motion controls, and does not get shortchanged features-wise.

Will it have online play? if not it will suck, and from the looks of this board no one is even interested. This is the reason the wii community gets nothing from the gaming industry, due to the fact that if its not a fp-shooter or a fan boy game the wii community's not interested. So very very sad.

The Wii version will not have online play and will not have patch support

Nice thing about the PS3 and the 360 we will get a patch to add 2011 driver update and paint schemes, but the WII will not.

I think they should have just left the WII out, and focused solely on the PS3/360. Nothing against the WII, but with no on line play and patch support whose really going to be playing this.

Where'd you find info about there being no Wii online play? Or anything else for that matter? Can't find anything...

And in both cases (patches/online), that's just lazy. Yes the Wii doesn't have the full capabilities of 360/PS3, but it CAN handle patches (CoD:BO among others) and online (numerous excellent examples).

In any case, neither of those are dealbreakers for me; hopefully the career mode will be excellent (and NOT gimped in comparison with the HD counterparts).

I read on the official forums that there would be on on line for the WII or Patch Support. I may rent the WII version just so I can say I played the only Nascar game ever for the WII.

mrmimickshell 8 , complaining about wii on a wii basedf forum lol , you make me sick ,

lets not even talk about online in a nascar game,

cause no matter if it had it or not ,

we all know how many times we all get booted or a host quits cause they cant handle losing

every sports game in general has a high percentage rate of hosts quit,

especally nascar and wwe , appearently you dont know nothing much about the communities in most sports games,

they have rotten sportsmanship,

i was playing madden 10 online, up by 3 touchdowns ,

the host quit so i said this

and put in wwe , well little suprise when i was about to get the 3 count , the hos t quited ,

then i put nascar , almost every body quits, you want to know why, because their sore losers, or just cant run the laps either way,

online is not a big thing for sports games, especally when you got more people quiting then enjoying the game whether or not their losing

I agree with you 100%; future sports games should just get rid of online play, but keep the online option for roster updates, DLC, patches, ect.

im just happy theres a racing game on the Wii that doesnt involve throwing items at each other. hopefully they take advantage of the Motion Controls, or at least have a GC or CC controller option..

and online/DLC doesnt mean anything to me.. i still play Nascar2004 for ps2 because in my opinion, its the greatest Nascar game ever made.. even with no online and waaay outdated roster..
