Disc throwers can actually have 254^ and pretty good starting base damage. Good stats are generally 500+ start base damage, positive reload speed bonus, positive projectile speed bonus, and Hero attack and health bonus, the more the better.
The new best weapon right now is the Mythical Retribution from the Assault Pack 1 Challenge. A NM version can start at 2000 base damage, have 200+ stats, has a 7 sps max, +3 projectiles bonus, and is just all kinds of overpowered.
I think something was broken in its implementation. Cause even a "mid-range" maybe 13-14k redemption is just about out-damaging every 20k huntress weapon or at least that's what it looks like. I imagine a very "severe" nerf will be coming in the next patch, but it's a fun weapon to use in the meantime.
They do. I don't know why Trendy even released the weapon like this since they had to know how powerful it was and that they would nerf it eventually. We all know they are going to nerf it so why even waste everyone's time.
All those things other weapons also have I think, but it's the synergy and the pierce. Is it infinite pierce? It looks like it based on what someone was doing in UMF. 5 ogres just got melted at the same time. Seriously if it is then it's just a DT upgrade with more projectiles and higher sps. >.>
What's the highest (legit) damage people have seen? I've seen a high 18k which is borderline but maybe possible. 2k base with 250+^ and high sps. 2k+ ~250*68 (upgrade damage is 68 and not 80 so trendy was likely aware it was strong, just not how strong) = 19k-ish.
I do like the idea of offering good/best end game gear as map reward. It gives incentives toward completing the maps/missions as opposed to grinding survivals.
