Strongest hero 1 on 1 without items?

We did it in the river in front of Roshan. Retreating was considered a loss. That would include invising out or anything of that nature if it was used to get away. Riki and Gondar would have to fight toe-to-toe to be considered victors.

We didn't try Jugg either actually. I wonder if he would beat CK. Hmm.

Slardar

Pl
Would all fair very well against others 1v1

If kiting and juking were considered
Axe
TA
Slark

There's no way you can do anything to slark or TA when they are invis and practically invulnerable thanks to there abilties.
A 1v1 in my eyes is a slugfest so invis heroes kinda can just wait for CDs

Most casters will essentially win any 1v1 because of the magic damage out put rather than physical dps

My vote would go
Ck naga slardar skel king
Naga and ck obviously have the extra output thanks to illusions
Slardar -20 armour nuff said
Sk revive and life steal

Honerable mention to TA because of refraction

I did try ck v Sven and various others.
Illusions too imba

There used to be a mode in dota 1. They two players with the highest kills would get thrown into a arena. It was somewhere around 1500 units wide and tall with true sight given to the people in it. Thats what I imagen when someone says a 1v1.

Even a omni where every hit was 175. Omni will do about 3000 damage to a single target. The heros that would live through that dont stand up to jugg straight fights anyway. Panda and Pugna are the only ones that can live through that and blinkers. That gives me someone eles that would pull a lot of wins. Panda. He would beat the crap out of of CK. Thunderclap and dispell illusions.

I don't know Invoker maybe? Could be that CK just crits him to death before he can do anything but if you can invoke everything fast enough and land all of it with a good mixture of CC and damage it could be enough.
He should have enough mana to cast everything I believe.

That was the first hero I tried. He got CK down to about half health.

CK melts Ursa, even if he picks the right illusion.

Basically to take out CK you either need to do so much damage so fast that you can overcome the window where you're stunned and getting beat on by 4 of him or pre-emptively disable him in some way that makes his illusions useless.

So basically Jugg and Panda are the only two suggested so far that MIGHT do it.

3 best 1 on 1 heroes without item at level 25 are sven, magnus and centaur.

sven: can stun, meaning he can stop any channeling spells such as sk ulti. He also has cleave to clear any illusions of ck or naga or panda. And warcry + god's strength = gg

Magnus: build in cleave (empower) with 45% bonus damage which, again, clear all illusions. His 3 skills (except empower) deal 880 damage and 3.75 sec stuns. In the case against naix, he can skewer away and wait for his rage to run out and kill naix.

Centaur: 650 damage with 4 sec stuns. Most importantly is the return damage (return 50% damage)

ursa maybe has small chance but these 3 are the king of 1 to 1 without item.
