Nightcrawl melinda sequence events

Can someone help me lay out the required sequence of event to crawl melinda?
I've been trying to but always fail at registering in the tournament. I can only register as an independent many times now.

I know i need to follow prajna events but do i need to follow it strictly no deviations whatsoever?

Follow the Prajna route.

In the very first event in the Harbor, participate and fight the Prajna punks. Beat the four Akagi sicks on you quickly so he joins the fight. Beat him and then beat Melinda.

First Daytime - Go to Little Britain and in the conversation with Melinda, draw your blade and blunt attack her.

In the event Akemi gets harrassed by British soldiers, when Melinda is apologizing, attack her. Again, blunt attacks.

Accept the Kinugawa sister's mission to intercept the Hospital's funding (which requires it to be open). Beat her down.

In the Prajna path tournament, you'll face Melinda.Blunt her to zero vitality and then talk, saying that you call the fight.

After that, Melinda will be in the foreigner bar, moping. Tell her the world would be hurt without her.

Nightcrawl her in the black ship.

I'm pretty sure that's all there is.

yep.

Point of note she is probably the hardest Nightcrawl I've seen, her bed is all the way in the back left room and she is surrounded by soldiers, like at least 5-6 of them on patrol.

also there a competitor nightcrawling in there and he seems to consistently get caught after about 3 min. As an added bonus she's a pretty tough fighter as well :(

I've seen her in the rooms near the hallway too.

She's a tough one simply because the sheer number of futons and crazy guards. Seriously, I've never seen non-foreign guards have freak outs like I've seen Blondies and Naval guards.

Just got her to show up at the restaurant. Although i did things a bit differently. So heres what i think are the req:
1. Tell akagi to let laura go. The fight normally, you dont need to fight melinda here ( i didnt)
2. Day 1- fight melinda in front of consulate
3. Day 1 evening - go to bar then fight soldiers. Then hit melinda while shes talking
4. Day 2- hospital doesnt need to be opened. Either follow foreigner or magistrate path and blunt melinda.
5. Day 2 evening - follow prajna path and find melinda and blunt her again

The rest just follow prajna path and you should be able to fight her.
After this she appears in rest. Finally.

Abandon any notion of stealth and nightcrawling in general is pretty easy. Just run straight to the bed, ignore everyone else, and you should throw the covers off before the thief takers can arrive.

The "fight" portion can be similarly cheesed, lure the girl near the bed and forward r1 triangle her on to it, instant "kill" no matter the health.

Impossible to nightcrawl for me... I do every instance that allows you to fight Melinda. The magistrate mission, going to the consulate to fight her, then following the prajima path for the rest of the way. And it always gives me the Foreigner path for the tournament fight, which I become a demonscale so I never get a chance to fight her again.

Can you be more specific on which events you are doing?

There's no way you should be on the foreigner path if you are only doing prajna missions save for the hospital and maybe apologizing to JJ. I'm not really sure how you are becoming a demonscale if you are on the foreigner path either, since that should only happen on the independent route.

Also, you didn't mention the event where you fight Melinda outside the Toasty Truth - did you do that one?

Sure. I fight at harbor in which you first have to defeat her. I immediately go to the consulate right after to fight her again, obviously using blunt attacks. After that I head over to the Toasty bar to fight her once more. Then I sleep till the next day. Go to the Magistrate and do the sister's request so I can fight Melinda at the hospital. I then skip the language & Casino quests because I want to keep those establishments open and do the Prajima paths that require them to be my sponsor. Tourny time comes and I have no sponsor. I go to the Shrine, the gate is closed. -___- I win the tournament, I become a Demonscale.

Your not doing enough Prajna events. You need to do more.
