Different forms (Not just permanent Bankai / Resurreccion forms)

Custom soundtrack (My Battle Ignition, Treachery, Raw Breath Of Danger, and On the Precipice of Defeat needs to be put to good use)

And last and most important... Kenpachi's old english VA back! ... Ah, and Sajin Konamaru's too.

Open World(maybe)
Tweak combat to make the game feel a little more authentic(maybe add flying into the game)
1v1 versus
Online Versus and/or Co-Op.

-Branching storyline for every character with multiple endings (like Sengoku Basara)
-More variety in missions (not just kill everyone without blocking, but capturing base points and stuff like that)
-More characters (especially central characters like Urahara, Chad, and Mayuri)
-Different transformation levels (it's no fun just to run around in permanent Bankai mode)
-Unlockable items/equipment that power up characters and give them different effects
-More complete storyline (The story in this game was pretty pathetic, it should go back further and be more in depth)

-A versus mode(on and offline)
-Make ignition attacks dodgeable or blockable so people won't spam it in versus mode
-Longer/better story mode
-More missions and stuff
-Make it so we can start in base form then go shikai/bankai/resurreccion during gameplay instead of running around in released form all the time

I'm sure there is more stuff but this is all I can think of atm.
If they had added all this in this game I would have easily given it a 10/10. But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy this game though, I was still fun. But yeah plenty of room for improvements.

Though to be honest I just want a Bleach fighting game on the ps3. Even if it's just a remake of one of the Heat the Souls games I'd still be happy. Or imagine if Netherrealm made a Bleach fighting game, that would be totally epic imo.
If not then at least release HTS7 in the west. I hope this game sold well so they might consider releasing the next Heat the Soul in the west(assuming there will be another one). Or at least one of those Soul Carnival games, they look fun too.

Anyway does anyone have any news on the next Bleach game? Will there even be another one?

you know, considering how little bleach news there is as a whole, i seriously doubt there will be a new bleach game, no matter how much i find it sad.

just compare it to the amount of naruto game news we got after Soul Ignition got out : they never let up. while bleach turned into a news desert.

That's probably accurate.

The only way would be if/when the final arc gets animated a few years down the road...there might be a game or two to go with it, especially if the arc gets popular and gets people excited about Bleach again.


I just hope before its over, there is a definitive Bleach game that covers every major character and all of their power ups. Since I've become a Bleach fan, I've wanted a Budokai Tenkaichi 3 style game.
